Join The Famished Wolf’s suburban revolution for success close to home

Not so long ago, you’d be lucky to find a great family restaurant or quality takeaway outside a major shopping centre. Now restaurants like The Famished Wolf are keeping diners happy a lot closer to their homes.

The Famished Wolf family restaurant

“The suburban market for our brand is growing all the time,” says founder Simon McNeilly. “There are families who want to enjoy good times together, commuters who want to grab a quick meal, couples looking for a place for a regular date night – and, as a fully-licensed, kid-friendly burger restaurant, The Famished Wolf is perfect for them all. We’re also raising the bar on local takeaways.”

Simon believes that suburban strip locations are the places to be – especially when there is a variety of outlets to suit every space.

“The Famished Wolf’s franchise model includes restaurants of various sizes for eat-in dining,” he says. “Franchise partners also have the option of purchasing a smaller store and building their business around take away and delivery. It’s a win-win situation. As a franchise partner, you’re not only closer to a lot of hungry customers, you can also build a successful business close to home so you’re not spending hours travelling to work every day.”

Fresh, tasty food

The Famished Wolf’s menu is built around the brand’s signature beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian burgers.

“We’re all about freshness and flavour,” McNeilly says. “All of our sauces, schnitzels and patties are hand-made in house.”

Add a warm welcome, excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere and it is no wonder The Famished Wolf is continuing to expand, despite the challenges thrown up by the pandemic.

“Covid-19 put every restaurant to the test, including ours,” Simon says. “I’m proud to say that the team all pulled together and we racked up record sales.”

The Famished Wolf responded to the crisis by forming partnerships with Doordash, UberEats and Menulog. Apps were also purpose built to make ordering simple and seamless for customers.

“This, together with takeaway options, pushed sales to a new high,” McNeilly says. “We love welcoming customers into our restaurants but it’s really good to know that we were able to grow our business even when dine-in wasn’t an option. It’s reassuring for our franchise partners to see that we have the resources and ingenuity to rise to a challenge on this scale.”

Security isn’t the only benefit for The Famished Wolf franchise partners.

“We’ve honed to our business model to ensure the business is as profitable as possible, with lower costs for set up, food and staffing,” McNeilly says. “Our range of different types and sizes or outlets gives extra flexibility – and, of course, our franchise partners receive all the training and support they need to succeed.”
