Trampoline takes out top honours

Melbourne gelato franchise, Trampoline, has received three awards within a week, taking out the Victorian and national title for Best Dessert/ice cream in the ‘I Love Food’ awards, as well as a Highly Recommended Award at the annual Food Magazine Challenge Awards.

Trampoline‘s lamington gelato earned it the Highly Recommended Award, earning praise for both innovation in terms of product, and for food processing methods.

The gelato and sorbet is made fresh on-site daily at each of the eight Melbourne franchises. This is the company’s key point of difference, said Grant Crothers, CEO and co-founder of Trampoline and parent company Burra Foods.

“What puts our product ahead of the rest is great ingredients, top quality churn, served fresh. We may be small fish in terms of store numbers compared to other ice cream players, but that doesn’t mean that we are lowering our standards in any way,” he said.
