The Coffee Club will also become the official ball partner of the ANZ Championship in 2016.

Jason Ball, The Coffee Club CEO said “As Australia’s largest home-grown cafŽ group, we are proud to be associated with one of the most popular female sports in Australia and New Zealand.”

As part of the new sponsorship deal, the Firebirds will sport a newly branded team kit with The Coffee Club logo.

There’s been a lot happening for The Coffee Club recently.

10 years in New Zealand

In New Zealand the business is celebrating 10 years of trading. In the decade since the first store launched in Wellington, another 56 outlets have been opened.

Auckland based entrepreneurs Andy Lucas and Brad Jacobs spearheaded the expansion into New Zealand.

Lucas said “We’re proud of what we’re achieved. I think the reason The Coffee Club has been successful is that we have always had a clear idea of where the brand fits. We’re about creating a whole experience that is consistent throughout the country.”

The franchise business has been twice named Supreme Franchise System of the Year (in 2013 and 2014) and four time winner of the food and beverage franchise system of the year.

Coffee bean awards

And in Australia, the cafŽ chain has outclassed more than 50 competitors at the Golden Bean Coffee Awards, taking home a gold award in the chain store/franchise (espresso) category for its exclusive signature blend. The coffee blend was also awarded a bronze medal in the chain store/franchise (milk-based) category.
