Worldwide Online Printing in Fyshwick has won the Print and Graphic Excellence (PAGE) Award, considered to be one of the most prestigious design awards in the industry. Only in its second year, the franchise was nominated for the production of a corporate invitation designed by Designstone for the opening of their new premises.

The awards celebrate excellence in print and design in 14 different categories, Worldwide Fyshwick receiving the award for ÔExcellence in the production of digitally printed material (under $5,0000)Õ. This category concentrated on the final output quality, compliance with high technical elements and effective design. It included print and paper quality, customer focus and evidence of innovative production.

Franchisee Mark Walker revealed that he wasnÕt initially aware of the entry or nomination. “WeÕre absolutely thrilled. We didnÕt produce the job with the intention of nominating it for an award. We werenÕt [even] aware that Designstone has nominated it on our behalf,” said Walker.

Walker is quick to praise his team and efficient machinery for the success of the award-winning invite printed on recycled paper. “We have a great relationship with designers and design agencies in Canberra, and always try and achieve our best. WeÕre vey fortunate that the Xerox DC5000 press is an extremely capable machine and we always have the full support of the staff at the FXA Canberra Office.”
