At its annual conference on the Gold Coast, Worldwide Online Printing named George Bacic from South Brisbane the National Franchisee of the Year for the 2009/2010 financial year.

Bacic was thrilled to take out the award, especially after the tough year he and his business have had.

“It’s been a challenging year with the floods; we had a half metre of water go through our premises,” he said.

“We have managed to get back on our feet with a lot of hard work from staff, partners, friends and volunteers. It has been stressful, but thanks to the support of our customers and suppliers our business is better than ever.”

Since opening the business, Bacic and fellow directors Paul Anich and Andrew Cochrane have built it to include a range of service including digital, offset and large formal print capabilities and graphic design.
