Salad, sandwich and coffee franchise, Soul Origin has raised over $100,000 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, helping to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

It marks the third successive year that the brand has partnered with Starlight, raising $15,000 in 2016 as part of Nine Footy Show’s “Big Change for Little Champions” campaign, $70,000 in 2017 and $102,810 this year.

Chris Mavris, Soul Origin CEO said the money raised would go towards providing 2600 sick children with access to Starlight’s hospital services.

“At Soul Origin a focus on return on integrity drives everything we do and we are thrilled to have already reached our annual target of raising $100,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation,” Mavris said.

“We are so very proud to have already raised enough funds to give over 2,600 seriously ill children and their families access these wonderful Starlight services. This would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our passionate franchise partners, staff and customers – we thank you all for helping us achieve this incredibly important goal that will make such a difference to so many young lives.”

This year sees Starlight celebrating 30 years of continued support, encouragement and laughter brought to Aussie families effected by medical hardship.

Mavris said Soul Origin was inspired and thankful to be a part of the journey, becoming a Gold Partner this year.

“Starlight is such an important cause to support and we have proudly been doing so for years. Starlight is on a mission to support these sick children and their families and help them re discover the joy of childhood,” Mavris said.

Matt Geraghty, Starlight’s National Partnerships manager said that without partnerships like this, the foundation would not be able to provide the level of support these families need.

“Starlight relies solely on the community to deliver and evolve its hospital services and we’re so thankful for Soul Origin’s ongoing support,” Geraghty said.

“Having already met their massive $100,000 fundraising goal is a fantastic achievement. We congratulate and thank Soul Origin’s staff, franchise partners and customers for their continuous support in helping us brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.”
