Signarama hits new sales record

Franchise business Signarama in Australia has achieved a new group-wide sales record, for the first time exceeding $6 million in October. Signarama also recently launched its 100th store in Australia.

The global sign company’s first store opened in the US in 1986 and since then has grown to 900 stores in almost 60 countries around the world.

This is a $50 billion industry.

Evan Foster, the national director of United Franchise Group, Signarama’s parent company, said the industry is in a buoyant phase at present. “We’ve experienced great growth so far this year and we’re having a very strong finish to the year,” he said. Group-wide growth is nudging 10 percent, a figure the franchise aims for every year.

“The pleasing element is that the growth doesn’t appear to be slowing down,” continued Foster. “We’ve got lots of great projects, and new stores coming to kick-off 2015 as well. Store growth will certainly continue, but for our current franchisees, the sky’s the limit.”
