Homewares business Earthborn Pty Ltd has gone into liquidation. However, franchise-run stores will continue to trade. 

Earthborn had been operating for just over 20 years and had more than 10 outlets across Queensland.

According to a report by Smart Company, eight company-owned stores have reportedly closed.

Franchise-run stores in Tweed Heads, Kawana and Harbour Town will continue to trade.

Earthborn was established by founders Philip and Patricia Walker, who began selling ceramics at their local market almost 21 years ago.
