Muffin Break scoops Coffee Shop of the Year award in Roy Morgan’s 2020 awards line-up.

Focused on recognising customer satisfaction the Roy Morgan awards are based on ongoing, lengthy personal interviews of over 50,000 people around Australia.

The cafe chain won two Coffee Shop of the Month awards in a row last winter.

Natalie Brennan, Muffin Break GM, said “We are delighted to be recognised for our excellence in customer service. Our customers have  always been our first priority, and this has been especially important in regards to their safety  over the past year. We are proud to be recognised by our customers for this award.”

The cafe chain provides nationally accredited training programs delivered in a range of formats to ensure team members at each store are consistently delivering excellence.

Throughout 2020, Brennan said, the brand and its franchisees have pivoted to adapt to the ever-changing climate and the new customer shopping and purchasing habits.

Muffin Break has been recognised with numerous other awards over its 32-year history,  including winning the Silver Stevie Award and being named fifth most innovative company by  The Australian Financial Review for its innovation in training techniques.

It has also won  the Gold Asia-Pacific Stevie Award for Innovation in Sustainability.
