Lenard’s to target blogging mums at networking event

Chicken retailer LenardÕs will be cooking up a storm at AustraliaÕs biggest Bloggers BBQ in Melbourne on Saturday 31 March 2012 where the franchise chain hopes to link with some of the most influential drivers in social media.

With more than 100 blogging mums and their families set to attend, the inaugural event is designed to provide a unique platform for interactive brand experiences between companies and their most salient bloggers.

LenardÕs marketing manager Zoe Jacovou believes that attending events such as this is vital for companies wishing to keep in touch with their customers.

“Blogging mums are some of the most vocal community leaders both online and off and it is our opinion that any opportunity to network with such influential individuals can only be positive for the LenardÕs brand.

“We need to follow our consumers to newer, more interactive platforms that will in turn open up further opportunities for our brand such as blogging, our recent online ordering launch and the work we have been doing in social media.

“Companies simply cannot afford to ignore the opportunities available via blogging communities and social media,” said Jacovou.

As a category sponsor for the event, LenardÕs is providing the bbq food on the day as well as on-site sampling.
