Battery World’s new ambassador ‘Honey Badger’ Nick Cummins will be the face of the brand for the 2020/21 holiday season.

The rugby union player’s adventurous outdoor lifestyle is a perfect fit with the brand’s mission to encourage Aussies to get out and experience life to the full, believes newly appointed Battery World GM Johnny Kennedy, .

He said Nick’s passion for the outdoors is ideal for a business ramping up its popular automotive and camping categories.

“As someone who thrives in the outdoors and clearly has a passion for what our incredible country has to offer, Nick represents the quintessential Aussie –as a locally owned and operated brand, we knew that Nick’s active lifestyle along with his down-to-earth demeanour, honesty, wit and natural comedy would make him a great fit for us and our audience.”

Aussies preparing for their holiday travels will get used to seeing Nick Cummins [pictured above with franchisee Howden Farrar] as the face of the battery retailer and mobile service provider.

“During December and January, we see a surge of customers getting ready to embark on adventure, be it a road trip, caravanning or camping, and we often remind them to check their batteries to avoid any power issues during off-the-grid adventures,” said Johnny.

“We see great synergy, as we ‘Power Your Passion’ and Nick’s passion for nature and exploration. We can’t wait to see this partnership come to life.”

The partnership with Battery World will see the ‘Honey Badger’ promoting Yuasa and Century batteries, which are manufactured by Australia’s oldest and most recognised battery manufacturer, Century Yuasa, Battery World’s parent company.

“I’m amped to be joining Battery World and I’m ready to charge into the new campaign to show you all what the buzz is about,” he said.
