Google eBooks partnership brings more books to Dymocks online

A link with Google eBooks is adding thousands of titles to Dymocks’ online offer and enabling its customers to purchase an eBook and access it again with an internet connection, or download it to read offline.

Whenever they reopen their eBook, readers will be able pick up right where they left off.

According to Michael Allara, DymocksÕ general manager of eCommerce, the book retailer has seen a steady increase in eBook purchases over the past five years, and believes the new Google eBooks partnership will further enhance the customer book-buying experience for Dymocks customers.

“This partnership with Google eBooks is a natural progression for us as we continue to innovate and expand our digital offering,” he said. “In addition to offering an extensive catalogue of local and international titles that will continue to grow, weÕre excited to include unique added value when customers purchase Google eBooks through the Dymocks website.

“Through our highly popular BookloverÕs Rewards Program, our customers will earn points when they buy Google eBooks which can then be redeemed for future purchases from Dymocks — both in store and online.”

The bookstore network has also just introduced an eBook Gift Card in time for Christmas.
