Former Socceroo joins Football Star Academy

Archie Thompson, former A-League football player, Socceroo and football personality has joined Football Star Academy as a franchisee and ambassador.

Football Star Academy (FSA) founder and CEO, Peter Nikolakopoulos said We are delighted to have Archie Thompson join our team. Archie has experienced a lot of success in his football career and now it’s time to pass that knowledge on to the next generation. The skills he has learned and developed over time now translate to life after football.”

FSA is an award-winning business giving children aged from five years old a professional and fun learning environment. 

Archie Thompson said “I absolutely love football and I’m excited to align myself with a team that not only have a proven success model, but share so many of my personal values such as a community spirit and the importance of building life skills in our children”.

Archie takes on the franchise for the Victorian suburb of Yarraville and surrounding areas. An official launch is scheduled Saturday 25th July  

The franchise has strong relationships with families, communities and schools specialising in teaching skills of football, life skills and instilling long term values in children such as keeping active and making healthy choices.

The Football Star Academy purpose is to “create a movement of change for tomorrow’s grassroots leaders”.

Franchisees such as entrepreneurs Bill and Maz Misailidis and former corporate Brit Tim Rickman are bringing their passion for football, and for business, to the task.

FSA is part of the broader business Sport Star Academy which coaches across multiple sports.

Peter Nikolakopoulos has big plans for the business he founded in 2002.
