Debb Meyer of Narellan Pools is in the running for the 2013 NSW Franchise Woman of the Year award, having recently been named a finalist.

The highly regarded award forms part of the Franchise Council of Australia’s annual Excellence in Franchising Awards.

Debb has been involved in the franchise industry for quite some time, and she has devoted her time to growing and improving franchise systems.

As Narellan Pools’ strategic advisor she works closely with franchisees out of the company’s support office.

Debb is thrilled to have been named a finalist. “I am so incredibly proud to be a finalist with so many accomplished women. This award is such an important one as it recognises the amazing qualities that allow professional women to achieve extraordinary things.

“I feel this award acknowledges my passion for helping people to develop their full potential,” she said.

Andrew Latta, general manager franchise, Narellan Pools said Debb has had an incredibly positive impact on the business.

“Debb’s franchise experience and knowledge have been invaluable to our strategic business development. With her input, Narellan Pools has seen significant changes in the way we operate to become a better, smarter business.”

After Deb and husband Chris tragically lost their first son Xavier, she became actively involved in the Bears of Hope Pregnancy and Infant Loss charity in a bid to help raise awareness for those that suffer infant loss. She is now a mum to one year old Eliza.

NSW Franchise Woman of the Year award winners will be announced at the NAB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards Gala Dinner on 14 June at the Four Points by Sheraton.
