Brazilian Butterfly opens more salons

Brazilian Butterfly, the national chain of waxing salons, has opened two salons in the last four weeks, extending its network to 26 outlets.

The latest salon launches in Taylors Lakes and Burwood East in Victoria follow closely behind the openings of salons in Templestowe and Ringwood.

Brazilian Butterfly managing director Scott Farrar said the brand was set to open further salons in 2012.

“We are confident that will will open at least another two salons before the end of the year,” Farrar said.

“We are still hopeful of opening our first salon in Western Australia, while Sydney is still a focus for us over the next 12 months.”

The opening of Burwood East saw the first re-branding opportunity for Brazilian Butterfly.

“We re-branded a former Body Bronze and the transition has been amazing. With an existing client base and a new offer of diverse services, the new salon has really had a significant impact already,” Farrar said.

Burwood East franchisee Kate Jackson [pictured] said since rebranding to Brazilian Butterfly, the response from existing and new customers had been overwhelming.

“Brazilian Butterfly has such a strong and respected brand name and the results of that have been outstanding,” she said.

“With Brazilian Butterfly’s reputation, range of services and product range, we have much more to offer the market place than many other industry brands,”  she added.

  • The chain opened its first salon in Richmond, Victoria, in 2002 and opened its first franchise store in 2004. There are salons in Victoria, Queensland and ACT.
