Aramex delivers in hard times: brand new ad

Sarah Stowe

Remember the toilet paper fiasco? Well, the busy people at Aramex, formerly Fastway Couriers, (the business began rebranding last year) have been on the frontline delivering much-needed toilet rolls to desperate consumers during shutdown.

As an essential business, Aramex has been diligently getting supplies from warehouse to homes over the past two months. Drivers have delivered more than 2,700,000 rolls of toilet paper, 2,300,000 cans of dog food and 1,700,000 bottles of wine.

With business booming (there’s been a 30 per cent increase in delivery volumes during March and April year on year) there’s no better time to communicate the strength and reliability of the courier brand with a new advertising campaign.

The Aramex TV commercial of course draws on a pain point we can all relate to – the toilet paper shortage – and how its courier service comes to the rescue.

Aramax delivers essentials

Aramex Australia & New Zealand chief marketing officer Cherie Kellahan says “As an essential service provider, our local couriers are playing a critical role in the economy as people remain home and retail pivots online.

“We wanted to highlight our commitment to delivering the everyday items that matter most to Australians by tapping into the well-publicised toilet paper shortages of the past few weeks.”

The TV ad was filmed in Sydney over three days in April and will run across digital and social channels.
