La Porchetta has recognised the outstanding achievements of its Australian and New Zealand franchisees with its annual excellence awards presented at the group’s recent national conference.

Victoria’s La Porchetta Glen Waverley won the Excellence in Customer Service – Australia award for the second time running and franchisee Samy Sahib was delighted.  “Once again, this reflects on the hard work of our staff.  This award is based on a mystery shopper program and if they are happy, then we can be confident that our customers as well,” he said.

The Excellence in Customer Service – New Zealand award went to La Porchetta Parnell in Auckland.  “We were very proud to tell our team as it’s their achievement,” said franchisees Debbie and Sean Keys.  “Our team takes tremendous pride in what they do and they work hard to provide a quality experience.”

La Porchetta Townsville won Franchisee of the Year – Australia, while Franchisee of the Year – New Zealand went to La Porchetta Papanui where franchisees Vicky and Michael Vincent faced many challenges following the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.

CEO of La Porchetta, Sara Pantaleo says, “Our award system recognises excellence in our restaurants and the hard work of our franchisees and their staff. It was a competitive field this year and we had to select from the best of the best.”
