5-star franchise Aussie Pooch Mobile is celebrating its recent high ranking on the Australian Rating Scale.

The 31-year-old dog-grooming business is the first pet services brand to be so highly-rated for its performance.

To achieve the ranking, Aussie Pooch Mobile had to demonstrate a high level of transparency and a very strong level of franchise performance.

The ratings are awarded by franchise business intelligence and information advisory business FRANdata which conducts an independent assessment of the business across seven categories.

Aussie Pooch Mobile managing director Paul Walters was thrilled with the recognition.

“We are delighted to achieve a 5-star rating following this external and independent review of our franchise system,” he said.

“Our focus has always been on partnering with people well suited to the franchise and then working hard every day to help them maximise their success as small business owners.”

FRANdata’s Australian CEO, Darryn McAuliffe, pointed to the brand’s ability to position its franchisees for success from the very beginning of their business life.

And it all starts with a “disciplined recruitment process and a highly effective initial training program” to get the right franchisees on board, and well-trained, he said.

“With strong follow up support practices and sound financial performance it was no surprise to find proof of healthy satisfaction levels across the franchisee network,” Darryn said.

There are almost 30 franchise brands now across a variety of sectors who have been awarded 4-stars and 5-stars on the Australian Franchise Rating Scale, and a few more brands in the pipeline.

In 2019 Quest Apartment Hotels was the first Australian franchise to be rated 5-star and it has retained its top ranking every  year since.
