RFG adds bakery and cafe director

The Retail Food Group has appointed a new director to head up the franchisor’s bakery and cafe division: Donut King, Michel’s Patisserie and Brumby’s Bakery.

Newly appointed Geoff Cockerill joins RFG from Queensland Cricket where he was the CEO. He has worked with global beverage brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Corona and brings with him more than 20 years of experience at large national and international organisations.

Cockerill said the strategy for the division will be focused on “delighting our customers with market-leading products supported by on-going innovation and award-winning coffee”.

“The retail environment continues to be challenging but I strongly believe we have the right brands and people to be successful.”
