Perth businesses ready to grow

Sarah Stowe

If you’re looking for a new business idea, you’ll find fresh concepts and established business models at the Perth Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo.

Here are three established business models up for grabs for keen franchise buyers.

The Grout Guy

Ice hockey player and Perth local Brad Young was an entrepreneur at a very early age, joining forces with local firm The Shower Man. The Grout Guy business came out of this experience. Brad and his wife Kristy continue to look at new innovations and systems to better the re-grouting and fixing leaking showers industry.

Q: How long have you been in business and how long franchising?

A: The Grout Guy has been operating in Perth for over 10 years. We decided to expand via franchising in February this year.

Q: Who is your customer and why do they need your service/ product?

A: Anyone with tiles and grout in a property they own, or more specifically a shower. We concentrate on re-grouting and sealing leaking shower recesses. When water damage appears on the wall behind a shower, we want the question to be “who do we call”and the answer to be “The Grout Guy”.
