New Zealand to get the taste of Sumo Salad

Sarah Stowe

Young Aussie franchise Sumo Salad is to launch in Auckland, New Zealand, further increasing its global presence. With 47 stores in Australia and five international franchises in Dubai and the UK, it’s a far cry from its humble beginnings as just one store in Sydney back in 2003.

Sumo Salad is quickly becoming one of the most popular franchise companies, being affordable, offering a higher return on investment and of course having the flexibility of being your own boss.

“Sumo Salad is all about living and eating well, which our franchisees love as they can combine a personal lifestyle choice with a profitable business that they own and manage themselves,” said Luke Baylis, director for Sumo Salad.

Baylis has no doubts about the success of Sumo Salad in NZ. “Sumo Salad is an Australian brand and not one of the large overseas junkfood giants [so] I feel this will appeal greatly to New Zealand franchisees.”
