New franchisees at Kwik Kopy, Norwood

Sarah Stowe

Kwik Kopy‘s Norwood franchise in South Australia has new owners – friends Shane Skinner and Phil Smith, who have taken the business’s reins from Skinner’s parents.

Skinner has been working with his parents at the printing franchise for the past 18 years and Smith was national sales coordinator for San Remo Macaroni and has considerable experience in sales, marketing and human resources.

“Our skill sets complement each other perfectly,” Smith said. “Whilst Shane has excellent experience with the printing industry and the centre itself, I bring relationship building, staff management and consultative sales skills to the table.”

The new franchisees will be focusing on ‘relationship printing’ at Norwood, which simply means following each sale through from the initial brief to final delivery and still being involved in the creation of the final product.

“We’re an integral part of our clients’ marketing and communications strategies. This is where relationship building is key. We’re not simply printing to order – we’re providing a consultative, solutions-focused service from initial strategy and design right through to delivery,” Skinner said.
