Gloria Jean’s Coffees will again run its national fundraising campaign Cappuccino for a Cause, organised through its charity foundation With Heart. This year the coffee franchise will double to $1 its donation from the sale of the first 65,000 cappuccinos on the key fundraising days 20 and 21 March.

On the Friday and Saturday the sale of each chocolate heart cupcake will also generate 40c for the charity.

Since it partnered with the national not-for-profit in 2011 the coffee franchise has raised more than half a million dollars for Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Angela Saleh, founder of With Heart said, “Thank you to our guests, team members and Franchise Partners in coffee houses across Australia who passionately support Cappuccino for a Cause and help bring it to life.”

Tam Johnston, CEO, Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW, said “I’m pleased to say the funds have helped across a number of our programs, helping Aussie kids achieve independence, gain self-esteem and realise their full potential. This has been achieved through specialised mobility grants for kids and also through Variety’s Scholarship program, to name just a few.”
