Baskin-Robbins scoops 11 food awards

Baskin-Robbins has been awarded 11 medals at the recent Ice-Cream, Gelato & Sorbet awards at the Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show.

The show, held in May, awards gold, silver, bronze and trophy show medals to leading products. This year, a total of 640 different chocolates, ice-creams and dairy products entered the competition.

All Baskin-Robbins’ entries were awarded either a gold or silver medal, with Chocolate Mousse Royale taking out a gold medal and all remaining entries winning silver.

Ian Martin, general manager Baskin-Robbins Australia, said “Baskin-Robbins is renowned globally for the quality of our delicious range of ice cream, so it’s pleasing to receive this recognition. We pride ourselves on having the highest quality products and these awards reaffirm Baskin-Robbins as Australia’s premium ice cream brand.”

Baskin-Robbins creates and markets innovative, premium ice cream, specialty frozen desserts and beverages world-wide, providing quality and value to consumers at more than 6,700 retail shops in nearly 50 countries. In Australia, there are currently 77 restaurants with more expected to open in coming months.

In addition to the premium range of ice cream, Baskin-Robbins Australia has just launched a range of yoghurts and fruit smoothies.
