Swimart awards its top franchisees

Pool and spa franchise Swimart celebrated the achievements of its top performing franchisees at an awards evening in Fiji recently.

Brad and Tina Austin of Swimart Oxenford in Queensland took out the brand’s top gong – the prestigious Australasian Franchisee of the Year award – for the second year in a row, along with another four awards.

Swimart’s Australasian manager Chris Fitzmaurice congratulated the pair for their commitment to the brand.

“Once again, Brad and Tina Austin from Swimart Oxenford have gone above and beyond to secure this prestigious award,” he said.

Fitzmaurice added the awards are a great way for the brand to recognise its hard working franchisees.

“A positive attitude combined with hard work and a passion for the business goes a long way to ensuring success.

“Going the extra step and getting to know and understand customers’ needs and wants is the key to building strong relationships based on trust and expert advice.”

Fitzmaurice said the 2013 awards were “particularly fitting” considering they mark Swimart’s 30th year in operation.

“At a time when the retail sector is stalling, Swimart continues to perform strongly – and we are proud to be able to recognise the outstanding performance of franchisees across Australia and New Zealand. “

Olympic swimmer and Swimart ambassador, Susie O’Neill was on hand over the course of the evening to present franchisees with their awards.

The presentation concluded a week of activities including a trade show, workshops, supplier training sessions and the national conference.

The conference included an overview of the business, looked at sales and marketing activities for the coming year and strategies for the future.
