Mortgage broking business, Resolve Finance has come a long way in just one year of franchising.
Originally established as an independent business more than twenty years ago, Resolve launched an innovative and specialised franchise model, catering to the needs of each individual franchise partner, last October.
Speaking at the time, Resolve Finance managing director, Don Crellin said the business offered a proven track record of success due to its highly desirable customer offering and diverse range of products, providing franchisees with a purpose-built, boutique model.
Now celebrating its first franchising anniversary, the team at Resolve has grown exponentially, with seven new franchise partners joining the business over the period, including three in Melbourne and five in Western Australia.
Crellin said the success of the brand over the past 12 months was a credit to both the strength of the model and the hard-work of its franchisees.
“I am proud to celebrate our first year of success as a franchise business. In the past year, Resolve Finance has gone from strength to strength, whilst also learning a lot about operating this type of model along the way,” Crellin said.
“As we reflect on what has been achieved to date, we have confirmation that this exciting next step was absolutely the right structure to expand our business model.”
Those achievements haven’t gone unnoticed, with Resolve taking out the Customer Service of the Year Award at the 2018 Australian Broking Awards, finishing sixth in the Top 25 Brokerages.
“All of our franchise partners relish the opportunities available to them and it has been fantastic to watch them all grow, adapt and succeed. We have found it incredibly rewarding and a privilege to play a supporting role with our foundation franchise partners,” Crellin said.
Richard Velliaris, Martin Ireland and Daniel Johnson opened the first Resolve Finance franchise office in Duncraig, Western Australia, building the business to be one of the strongest performing brokerages in the area.
“After building up many years of experience as a mortgage broker, the challenge of being able to now grow my own business on the back of the experience I have developed was a very exciting step forward and still having the backing of a big and reputable company such as Resolve Finance made it even more attractive,” Velliaris said.
Following a strong first year of franchising, Crellin said the brand is looking to build on positive performance, entering a development and growth phase that sees new opportunities unveiled.
“As we begin to approach 2019, I look forward to what else Resolve Finance can achieve and am eager to see more like-minded professionals build their business on the strength of ours,” Crellin said.
