New franchise Stormer Music has partnered with Yamaha Music to give all its schools access to Yamaha products and resources.

And to celeberate, the first five franchisees to sign up will receive a premium upgrade on all studio gear.

Phil Stormer, CEO at Stormer Music, said “We’ve played and taught on Yamaha gear since we started our business and are so excited to be able to partner with them to keep up that tradition and ensure our students are given the highest quality education on the highest quality instruments available”.

The musical education franchise also has partnerships with the Australian Institute of Music, Ernie Ball, Australian Music Therapy Association, Western Sydney University, Home Education Association Inc., and Brightside Music.

The business was started by the Stormer brothers, Phil and Joel, guitarist and drummer, back in 2007. The pair launched the franchise earlier this year, and have plans to open more than 10 music schools across Australia within two years.

Stormer Music has doubled in size over the last year, opening three new schools.

Franchisees will be able to offer plenty of music learning options as well as lessons – music therapy, in-school programs, unique student concerts, guest artist workshops, recording days for audio and radio, celebrity concerts, artist development programs, and band and ensemble training programs and student awards programs.

Phil says “We exist to provide great music lessons with wonderful teachers for students of all ages, stages, abilities and walks of life in just about every instrument you can think of. With families, children and adults all welcome, our weekly lessons are completely personalised and taught within our students’ goals, values and experience”.
