The Sherpa Kids franchise has a foothold in New South Wales with the opening of a Tamworth venture to provide after school and vacation care.

Based on the New Zealand business Safe Kids In Supervision or Skids, the Sherpa Kids business in Australia is in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia and has opened its first franchise in the UK.

NSW area developer Ted Nguyen said “Our focus is on providing primary school aged children with meaningful learning and recreational experiences that complement what they’re taught during normal school hours.

“We offer a whole new level of service for working parents to provide engaging out of school hours care for their children.”

Based at St Edward’s Primary School the Tamworth Sherpa Kids will offer in-school care to students of partner schools from 7am on weekday mornings until 6pm.
