Adelaide franchise and business consultancy firm, Sherpa Group, has appointed David McClaren in a newly created business development role.

McClaren’s role will involve inspiring and educating successful SME’s to consider expansion through strategic growth models such as franchising and licensing.

He has experience in the franchising industry and has held senior positions such as business advisor and general manager of one of South Australia’s most successful Business Enterprise Centres. McClaren is currently also mentoring young entrepreneurs in the South Australian Young Entrepreneurs Scheme.

“Sherpa Group is a cultural fit. Its clients are diverse and they are looking for that piece of advice that makes their business stand out from the crowd whilst increasing profits and systems. By having proven runs on the board I am looking at offering honest, real time experience from large to small, manufacturing to service businesses,” he said.
