A new Salsa’s food court store has opened in the Myer Centre in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD and will be followed by a store opening at FKP Property Group’s $1.1 billion Gasworks development in Newstead on 28 August.

Salsa’s general manager, Jake Spencer said Brisbane is a key market for Salsa’s growth in the next 12 months as the company works to double store numbers within three years.

“Salsa’s does food and experience better than any competitors in the fast casual sector. Our food court sites like Myer Centre appeal to workers and shoppers who want delicious, fresh food, fast.

“Casual dining sites such as Gasworks provide a relaxed dine-in experience, with loads of atmosphere. Gasworks will appeal to those working and living in the area with fresh, healthy and convenient eating,” Spencer said.

Salsa’s expansion strategy involves a target to open 50 stores by the end of 2013.
