RFG’s Middle Eastern milestone

Gloria Jean’s Coffee has reported a significant milestone in its international expansion, announcing the signing of two master franchise partners for the State of Palestine.

Earlier this year, parent franchisor, Retail Food Group (RFG) (ASX:RFG) earmarked plans to target the Middle East and African regions, primarily with its Gloria Jean’s brand.

The signing of Khaled Aqqad and Yousef Asfour as Gloria Jean’s Palestinian master franchise partners strengthens RFG’s Middle Eastern network, which now includes over twenty master franchise agreements.

The pair will look to have their first store open later this year, will further plans to develop in the works.

This latest agreement follows a growing list of international expansion announcements for RFG, who reported master franchise agreements for Gloria Jean’s Coffee, along with additional growth for its Donut King and Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar brands in the U.K, and further expansion for Donut King in Sweden.

RFG is looking to further capitalise on the Middle Eastern and African region, announcing the company is actively seeking master franchise partners for brands It’s A Grind, Donut King and Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar.
