Tobacco Station Group, the 340-outlet chain of tobacco and gift retail outlets, is up for sale.

What started as a single shop more than 20 years ago has become a substantial chain of franchised outlets.

There are about 50 stores in New South Wales and almost 50 outlets in Melbourne.

Smart Company reported that an advertisement in the Australian Financial Review has highlighted Tobacco Station Group’s turnover as more than $4.7m in the financial year 2015.

All TSG’s assets including intellectual property are for sale.

The ad indicates that franchise renewal rates in the network have been high.
