Quest Apartment Hotels awarded by accommodation industry

Quest Apartment Hotels has won big at the hotel industry’s annual awards, including the top slot as Accommodation Chain of the Year.

The franchised apartment chain also picked up an award for Service to the Community, and for the second year running was recognised for delivering the best marketing campaign.

Franchisee Amy Van de Ven at Quest Orange took home the Serviced Apartment Property award.

David Mansfield, Quest chief operations officer, congratulated the whole network and corporate office for these four wins.

“To win an award at any time is a great honour, but to have done so on the back of a year as challenging as 2020 is testament to the calibre of people we have operating Quest Apartment Hotels nationally, aptitude of corporate office, and our overall strategic direction focussed on a firm commitment to guest experience and ongoing franchisee success,” he said.

“My sincere congratulations to everyone in the network and in corporate office. Collectively we have made this outstanding outcome possible.”

David also praised the commitment from franchisees – not just award-winner Amy Van de Ven, but two other nominated franchisees.

“Amy’s devotion to Quest Orange, her local community and the growth of the business is astounding,” David said.

“I also want to commend Quest Penrith and Quest Robina, who were also nominated. Establishing a new business is not easy, but to have done so with such optimism and grit in 2020 is highly admirable.”

Quest previously scored a double win at the 27th annual World Travel Awards. The franchised hotel chain was named Oceania’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand and the Quest NewQuay site scooped the award for Oceania’s Leading Serviced Apartments.

“As we go into December and this enormous year for Quest draws to a close, I hope the recognition of our terrific work serves as a boost, reminding us of the resilience, excellence and resourcefulness of our teams, and the rigour of our business format franchise model,” David Mansfield said.
