Touch Up Guys see the Sydney Franchising Expo as the perfect opportunity to present the business to people who have a love of cars and are looking for the independence of being their own boss with the security of a proven system to support them.

Says Peter Darnell, franchise sales manager, “We want to connect with like-minded people who want to work outdoors, are physically fit, have a reasonable level of communication skills and who like the idea of a mobile business without all the overheads and liabilities of rented premises.”

Touch Up Guys claims to be Australasia’s premiere mobile paint and bumper repair franchise with over 20 years experience and more than 130 successful businesses operating in Australia and New Zealand.

“Our franchise has grown in both good and bad economic times because we provide services that everyone needs at some time. Our highly trained franchisees specialise in minor automotive paint repairs including bumper, stone chip and scratch repairs, buffing and polishing and alloy wheel repairs. We also install and colour match reversing sensors and supply and install rust prevention and paint protection systems,” says Darnell.

“The Touch Up Guys priorities for 2011 are twofold. Firstly to grow our network throughout Australia to meet the growing demand for our services and secondly to further expand on our successful multimedia marketing strategies to attract even more private work.”

Last year the business expanded to the US, setting up a training and distribution centre and a company-owned multi-van operation in Phoenix, Arizona. After years of planning and development Touch Up Guys is now selling franchises in the US and after successful exhibits at the recent Los Angeles and Miami Franchise Expos is looking forward to a year of dynamic growth there.
