Outback Jacks looks for master franchisee in NSW

Sarah Stowe

Outback Jacks Bar & Grill franchisor, Graeme Diamond, is now offering up the rights to the master franchise in NSW. All other states across Australia already have a master franchisee.

OBJÕs opened its first store in NSW back in 2006 in Tamworth and from there the rest of Australia grew rapidly.

However Diamond said “It wasnÕt until 2010 that we opened the second store in New South Wales and in the past 18 months New South Wales has grown to eight strong stores.”

The state has now become the second biggest and second most successful region for Outback Jacks after Queensland with nine stores.

Diamond told Franchising, “Master franchisees for Outback Jack’s get to retain 75 percent of their royalties.”

The master franchisee will build the OBJ business across the state with an expected 30 stores outlined.
