Melbourne plays host to the Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo this weekend, with more than 80 franchised and licensed brands showcasing their business models.

Included in the line-up are McDonald's and the Jim's Group, but there are a host of lesser known companies across a variety of sectors who will also be at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to talk to potential franchisees and licensees.

In addition to the businesses exhibiting at the event, there is a free, full seminar program each day. Franchisees who have been successful in their operations will be on hand to share their experiences in the daily Franchisee Success Panels, facilitated by Franchising editor Sarah Stowe.

Franchisees from ANZ Mortgage Solutions, Appliance Tagging Services, First Class Financial Group, Grill'd, Kumon, Nanotek, OPSM and The Cheesecake Shop will talk about the challenges and the achievements of their franchisee career so far, and offer some helpful advice for potential franchisees.
