No educational experience required for a Tutor Doctor franchise

ifbadmin

Make a difference to the lives of children, and build yourself a profitable business in the process with Tutor Doctor.

The good news is that passion is the major requirement for this franchise – you don’t need to come to the business armed with educational qualifications. In fact, only 17 per cent of Tutor Doctor franchisees have a background in education.

It’s all about boosting education through one-on-one in-home tutoring sessions for children and adults and franchisees are not teaching themselves, they manage a team of professional tutors and work on the business rather than in it.

There are low overheads – you can even work from home – extensive training, and a strong network of franchisees for mentoring and support.

Tutor Doctor provides intensive online training and support to help franchisees make a strong start in the first 12 months of their business.

The Launch Support Program includes monthly jump-start webinars and a sales training program. Franchisees can keep developing their skills with further webinars, video recording, e-learning modules and sales training.

Marketing support includes content for social media, including videos and blogs, as well as support from the brand’s PR agency. There are awards, a resource library, and of course marketing guides and seasonal campaigns.

Tutor Doctor also provides a podcast series for tutors and consumers that cements the brand’s standing as a trustworthy and credible business, and this can help franchisees with lead generation and tutor recruitment.

Buying into the Tutor Doctor franchise requires a capital investment of $60,00 and there are a further $10,000 of set-up costs. Franchisees sign up to a 10 year term and have the option to renew the agreement at the end of the term for another five years.

The business was founded in Canada in 2000 and began franchising four years later. Now the global operation has nearly 600 franchises.
