Leisure and fitness business Ninja Parc opens first Melbourne location as the business extends its footprint into Victoria.

The Bayswater site is the first step in further expansion for the indoor obstacle course concept owned by Belgravia Group.

Another eight sites are lined up for opening this year.

Last year was a tough 12 months for many fitness brands, challenged with lockdown restrictions through the worst of the pandemic.

Ninja Parc is one of those which proved its business credentials, with its trading capacity around Covid showcasing the resilience of the brand.

New business manager Magdalena Schoeman said “After lock downs we were back at full capacity within two weeks. Because of our drop-in model, we didn’t have too many issues with capacity which meant
business as usual for our franchisees. ”

Magdalena said the summer months have seen a 79 per cent increase from the school holiday program.

The new Bayswater location comes after new centres were opened in Townsville and Newcastle. The greater Sydney metro area is now on the list of upcoming locations.

John Pirlo came up with the concept and heads up the Ninja Parc business.

He previously told Inside Franchise Business “Our vision is to inspire a world of movement. We plan to launch Ninja Parc in as many regional and metro locations as possible to bring affordable, safe and fun activities to all. The main reason was that we wanted to inspire more people to get active.”

The idea for the fitness venue became a business reality in 2017.
