Convenience franchise, NightOwl, has opened a new store in Queensland’s Fernbrooke and celebrated the occasion with free giveaways and a Brain Chill Challenge.

Opening last weekend, national buying and marketing manager for NightOwl, Richard Elsley said the franchise had received a lot of positive feedback from locals.

“We held our iconic brain chill challenge which saw lots of local children come out and experience the brain freeze phenomenon, it was a lot of fun and several children won some great prizes including a state of the art sound system. The Ipswich Lions Club  ran the BBQ and the kids loved the jumping castle and visit from Nova106.9,” he said.

The new Fernbrooke site is the furthest NightOwl outlet in the south-west of Queensland and according to Elsley is a sign of the franchise’s commitment to expanding in the Western corridor. It is also the 66th store for the convenience chain, which has 61 franchises operation in Queensland.
