Zeus Street Greek opens first Victorian store

Zeus Street Greek, Australian Greek street food franchise will continue its nationwide expansion, opening its first Melbourne store in the ‘up-and-coming’ suburb of Moonee Ponds.

Zeus, which now operates twenty stores across Australia, offers a modern twist on traditional Greek food using fresh local ingredients with an Australian influence.

Since the first Zeus Street Greek opening in Drummoyne in 2014, the group has rapidly expanded with fourteen stores in New South Wales, three in Queensland, and one store each in Western Australia, the ACT and now Victoria.

The new Moonee Ponds store design reflects Zeus’ ‘old meets new’ philosophy, combining exposed brick walls and a contemporary fit out. The space comes to life via clean lines and vibrant turquoise colour accents.

Co-founder of Zeus, Costa Anastasiadis, said, “We’re anticipating further strong growth with franchise business partners as we will grow our nationwide footprint.”

“We know Australia has a real appetite for honest, customisable and high-quality food like the Zeus offering. Zeus has built up a very loyal following based on a strong digital engagement with our customers. It’s the culture we’re living in today and it’s great for business,” he continued.
