Franchise chain Zarraffa’s Coffee has just reached a significant milestone with the opening of its 90th outlet.

The drive-through store at Deception Bay, Brisbane, is also the third to open in as many weeks.

Zarraffa’s CEO, Marnie Sheldon, said “Ninety stores have taken time to build, ensuring we grow steadily via a strong network of financially healthy businesses, while still delivering an excellent product and service proposition company-wide.”

The company-owned store will provide work for more than 30 locals.

Growth on the menu

Recent expansion includes the first Zarraffa’s Coffee outlet in greater Sydney and the third drive-through store for one WA franchisee couple.

“Zarraffa’s is on track to open its 100th store over the next 24 months,” Sheldon told Inside Franchise Business. “The company is actively seeking sites and franchise partners in both regional Queensland, NSW and Western Australia.

“There is no rush to reach a specific number of stores, having built to 90 over the past two decades. Growing in a healthy and financially responsible way is what has sustained Zarraffa’s as a privately and Australian owned company across such a long span of time.”
