Zambrero has its sights set on WA

Sarah Stowe

Mexican food franchise the Zambrero Group is looking to open 50 new stores in Western Australia over the next five years.

The brand recently appointed The Franchise Warehouse as its Western Australian area developer, and it will be responsible for facilitating the expansion.

Gordon Bain, managing director, The Franchise Warehouse has previously helped a number of franchises achieve their expansion goals, including:

  • Cold Rock
  • Hudson’s Coffee
  • Pretzel World
  • Mr Whippy
  • T.G.I Fridays
  • Fancy Fillings
  • Pure+Natural

He said Zambrero is leading Australia’s rapidly expanding Mexican quick service retail market because the quality of its offerings is high.

“The stores are a huge success due to the nature of our fresh, healthy and incredibly tasty products.

“This is backed up by the overwhelming success we have experienced in our existing Perth Zambrero’s stores in Leederville, Mount Lawley and Subiaco,” he said.

Zambrero is looking to open stores in metropolitan and regional areas including Northbridge, Perth’s new shopping centre enex100, Scarborough and Margaret River.

He said the brand is currently on the lookout for franchisees to run these new Western Australian stores.

“We are currently recruiting potential franchisees that are looking to take advantage of a ground floor opportunity in a fresh and healthy food segment.

“We believe the popularity of the Mexican QSR market is only just beginning to be realised,” added Bain.
