A new casual dining experience will launch at Warringah Mall in SydneyA chain of Italian restaurants has big plans for NSW with its second outlet in the state set for a November opening.

Rozzi’s Italian Canteen will unveil its latest outlet in Westfield’s development of Warringah Mall.

The store will be located near aspirational brands in a resort feel, with just two hospitality venues, explained Rozzi’s NSW master franchisee Fabian Rebelo.

“On the side is The Grounds, and Rozzi’s has a 40sqm glass kiosk in the centre with 100sqm indoor/outdoor dining with a Balinese/Italian feel.”

Rebelo said “The brand has some intrinsic strengths. Because it’s casual dining, people tend to stay. It’s friendlier than fast casual, and from a franchisee’s point of view it’s a more connected experience. I put a lot of value in that. That’s why people are in hospitality.”

Four more outlets are expected to be up and running by mid 2017.

Rebelo said the key to further openings is the viability of the business opportunity.

“It doesn’t matter about the location or landlord deal. What matters is tradeability – when the dust settles will the business still trade? That’s how we will determine our growth.”

There will be at least 20 outlets across the state, initially company owned with opportunities for incoming franchisees.
