The parcel, courier and freight reseller Pack & Send has brought the freight and logistics expert into the business as a non-executive director.

Roberts, who is also a director of a DHL subsidiary Tasman Cargo Airlines, retired from Couriers Please earlier this year.

Michael Paul, founder and CEO of Pack & Send, said “Brian brings extensive international experience and leadership to the Pack & Send board and I believe his skillset will complement those of our existing board members.

“Our board and executive team will benefit from Brian’s strategic insights and vision – we’re thrilled to have him as part of the company.”

Roberts has spent more than 30 years in freight and logistics, including senior roles with DHL Express.

Pack & Send also has two new faces in senior roles at the business: Jared Dawson takes on the role of omni-channel marketing manager, and Patrick Ibrahim is the business development manager – eCommerce.

The company increased its parcel shipments by 23 percent in financial year 2015-16, and has seen record sales revenue this year.
