Coco Cubano is unveiling its new franchise model – Coco Cubanita. So what does this new format look like? 

Tony Melhem, who heads up the Cuban-inspired casual dining franchise, said “We’re very excited about the new format."

“Coco Cubanita is a cabana format. It will be a free-standing store, like a kiosk model.”

Under this model, the menu will have a few new items and maintain the existing dessert offering.

“Coco Cubanita will have a really strong coffee, lunchtime, and tapas focus,” added Melhem.

“It will be a simplified version of our (existing) business.”

The new model is set to open in Pacific Fair (Gold Coast) in late October of this year and will be available in other states in the future.
