Want to buy a fitness franchise? KX Pilates plans to open 35 studios nationally

Fitness franchise KX Pilates has major plans to expand in all states, opening 35 new studios across the country.

Originating in Melbourne, KX Pilates focuses on small and ongoing improvement through fast paced, high intensity body toning workouts in 50 minutes.

The brand is looking to expand across the Gold Coast and Brisbane in Queensland, followed by South Australia and Western Australia this year.

“Over the next 12 months, the aim is to be in all states of Australia so that everyone can experience the KX difference,” said Aaron Smith, CEO and founder.

A total of 35 new studios are expected by the end of 2016, and 50 studios by end of 2017.

“We look for sites above main shopping strips or warehouse conversions close to shopping centres, supermarkets and trendy cafes and restaurants,” added Smith.

“Although we are a destination, we pride ourselves on being in exceptional and convenient locations.”

The initial establishment costs for a KX Pilates franchise ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 and is dependent on the size and location of the studio.

“What sets us apart from other fitness franchises is that we allow owners to put their own personal touches to their studios to personalise it just that little bit extra,” said Smith.

KX Pilates franchise support includes assistance for location advice and site identification, as well as studio design and construction, extensive training programs and development, all IP (intellectual property) and design templates, and national and state marketing support.

Ideal franchises in Smith’s view are trainers or clients, and those who share the brand’s vision to make a difference.
