A free expo and seminar in Perth aims to help people looking to buy a franchise, whether they are affected by the downsizing of the mining and corporate sectors or budding entrepreneurs.

Franchise Opportunities Roadshow organiser Leigh Kealton said “There will be plenty of well-known brands on offer as well as some great ground-floor opportunities. Whether you are a hands-on trades enthusiast or you love retail or an office environment, whether you have $7000 or $1million to invest, there is something for you.”

There are some big national food brands showcasing too. Michael Marr of the Retail Food Group said “I’m looking forward to meeting people at the expo and introducing them to the dozens of our current opportunities in Perth, including Brumby’s, Donut King, Pizza Capers, The Coffee Guy and Michel’s Patisserie.”

Portermark, one of the newer systems on offer, is an innovative beer line cleaning company, with a mission to ensure that the quality of beer served to customers is just as the brewer intended.

“But if coffee is more to your liking, well-known coffee franchise Muzz Buzz has recently launched its exciting mobile drive-through coffee stations and visitors will also be able to see one of their brand new units,” said Kealton.

Visitors can also get invaluable free advice in the seminars Getting Started and talk to professional advisors, government services and franchisees.

Perth’s Poolwerx franchise partners Irene and Ian Hughes have just been recognised as Australia’s best multi-unit franchise in the 2015 Franchise Council of Australia ‘Multi-unit Franchisee of the Year’ award. The couple will be at the Roadshow to share their success with prospective new business owners.

The Franchise Opportunities Roadshow will be held on 8 November at the Crown Perth Convention Centre and is open from 10am to 4pm. Free admission includes the Getting Started seminars.
