The Cupcake Desire is a new franchise on the block. Founded by the Mahajans who are previous franchisees of a bakery chain.

“We love the industry as it has so much art and creativy involved,” says owner, Rupal Mahajan.

The husband and wife duo decided franchising was the best way to bring more resources in and bring fresh and innovative ideas within the brand to be ahead of the market.

“Assembling a team of like-minded people with a passion to empower customers and who is hungry for success is our goal,” says the franchisor.

The franchise is currently in the process of expansion with the aim to open franchisee outlets in Victoria and then will aim for national expansion.

The franchisor says the quality of the cupcake makes them unique. They are baked fresh everyday using the ‘finest’ ingredients .

“We take pride in producing sweet treats that meet customer’s dietary requirements while still ‘baking’ them happy. We make gluten free and vegan cupcakes and cakes,” says the franchisor.

We offer our customers a great service. We empower them to customise their cupcakes and cakes suit their occasion.”

An expert has been hired who will be negotiating the best lease for franchisees.

The franchisor plans to not charge any marketing levy  and franchisees will market the brand locally to boost sales to build the customer relationship.
