Casual Greek restaurant franchise, Souvlakihut, is expanding into new markets despite today’s difficult financial climate.

The franchise opened the doors to its first store in the ACT on April 23, bringing the total number of franchises to 27 across five states and territories.

More than $500,000 has been invested in the development and refurbishment of the 200 sqm restaurant, with 25 jobs created in the local area of Wanniassa.

“Business growth is still going strong. We are seeing demand to open franchises across the country and have relished the challenge to expand into the ACT,” said Souvlakihut co-founder, John Fotiadis.

“This is just the start of our growth plans as we want to continue to facilitate expansion into new markets over the next year.”
