Record result for Top Snap

Photography franchise Top Snap has recorded its highest ever monthly turnover, with November revenue up 30 percent on the same time last year, and 130 percent on its November 2009 figures.

This tops off a year of exceptional growth for the fast-growing franchise system which services the real estate sector. Top Snap swelled its ranks by a further 11 territories taking the total to 37, a 130 percent increase in territories over the past two years alone.

There are plans for a further 12 territories to be launched in 2012.

Top SnapÕs manager director, Rob Watkin, said the success is a result of the brand’s ability to match the real estate sector’s need for strong marketing.

“It might be a slower than normal market, with houses and units taking on average an extra 10 days to sell compared to this time last year*, but as a result the need to properly market a home has never been greater.

“Which is where Top Snap comes in, by helping agents professionally present homes to the market, using various types of property photography complemented by marketing tools such as virtual tours, copywriting, floor plans and virtual furniture,” he said.

Graham Taylor, residential and development sales, Ray White, recently used Top SnapÕs virtual furniture product to produce a stunning sales result. “As well as using professional photography and floor plans for all our listings, we recently successfully marketed a new apartment by virtually furnishing the internal rooms and balcony. This totally transformed the unitÕs presentation, leading to massive amounts of enquiries and resulting in a sale within days.”

Chris Bowmaker, principal of QueenslandÕs Bowmaker Realty agency, agrees that online presentation is fundamental to real estate sales in the current climate. “In a slower market itÕs hard to attract and please buyers. They do all their research online before inspecting a property, so we need to be attracting their attention while they are at their computer.”
